Hello Everyone!
I hope you've all had a great start to your week. Mine has been good...busy as always with kids and school. I'm currently in the process of establishing new doctors, dentists etc for myself and the kids. That's always crazy isn't it? Every one needs different paper work and then they make you fill out the forms again at the appointment and you know, no matter how hard you try, you always forget something they need!
I went to a beautiful winery Monday to have lunch with a lovely new friend. It was such a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The white wine I had was perfectly paired with my Asian Salad with Sushi grade Tuna. I think it's important to take time for yourself as a mom and do things like this. Grab a friend and go have lunch. Drink a glass of wine with your meal. Really...it's ok! You'll still pick up your kids from school on time, dinner will still get made, and you'll still have time for the laundry too! It occurred to me after I looked at these pictures, that I never took any of the actual wine! Rest assured, we did enjoy a nice chilled bottle!
Anyhow, just thought I'd share that little bit with you. I do also have a card to share today. I was scrolling along my Bloglovin Feed and came across the Verve August Diva Challenge; and I realized that I haven't done a Verve Challenge in a very long time! So, I'm throwing my hat into the ring this month, so to speak.
In designing my card, I used the colors and earthy tones for inspiration and also tried to find the papers to reflect the pinks and greens in the dream catcher as well. Anyhow, I hope you all like it
I have decided to include links to the products I use just to make it easier for you all to see what I used. (I'm not associated with any affiliate programs at the moment. I'd like to be; but I don't understand how that all works, so...you know...anyways!)
Have a great day and I'll see you on Friday!
