Good Morning Everyone!
I hope you're all having a great week, so far. If not, well...at least you've reached the half way point, right?!
I'm here today to share a Thank You card. Now, let me apologize for the quality of this picture today. It is not my best work, for sure. I waited a little too long in the day to take the picture and unfortunately fell victim to the afternoon shadows coming through the window where I normally take my pictures. I wanted to use some bright colors with a black base, so I chose Picked Raspberry, Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks. I used "Perfect Shapes" from Simon Says Stamp for the top and bottom border pieces.
I went really old school and used my Quik Kutz hand tool to cut out the "Thank You" letters. I did two of each and used the white ones to create a highlight or shadow base for the pink letters.
I heat embossed a smaller sentiment underneath with white powder. This sentiment is from Altenew's "You Are" set.
Pretty simple card today; but I wanted the focus to be on the sentiment, so I tried to keep the embellishments etc to a minimum.
Have a great day! Thank you for visiting with me; and I'll be back again on Friday. I may try to start posting a weekly recipe again as well, so stay tuned!
