You are Amazing
Hi Everyone!
Well, I've shared bright and fun cards over the last couple of days, so I thought I'd change things up a bit and share a bit more of an elegant card. I built this card around the pattern paper on the top. I chose this paper because it was the only Black and White patterned paper I had and I needed it in order to use it for one of my challenges today. It's a simple card; but I think it could be used for a variety of purposes.
The challenges for this card are:
SCS: Sketch #333
Crafty Creations: Flowers, Pattern Paper, Ribbon
Truly Scrumptious: Anything Goes
Paper Shelter: Distress (its hard to see; but I did distress the edges of the black Label 8 Nestie)
Scrapbook Sisters: Black and White. (Ok, so I couldn't resist adding just a tiny splash of red!)
I'm off to snuggle with my little man and then we're coloring dinosaurs later, so much fun with him!

Button me a Sketchy Child! (Cooking it up with Katie)
Hi Everyone!
Well, I go from posting too late in the afternoon to posting too early in the morning! The hubs left a few moments ago to catch a 6AM flight for a quick trip, so of course I was up with him making fresh coffee and getting him on his way. I'm so totally putting that on my "wife of the year" application by the way! I decided not to fool myself into thinking that I might actually go back to sleep and instead thought I would go ahead and get my post done for today. I will, however probably be seeking additional caffeine therapy at Starbucks a little later this morning!
Anyhow, on to today's card. This is my card for this week's "Cooking it Up with Katie" challenge. This week's challenge is "Button me a Sketchy Child" and is sponsored by Digital Delights who are offering 3 free digital stamps for the winner!
The ingredients for this week are: Start with a sketch (from a current challenge), make it for a child and finish with some buttons.
I loved this little "Raggedy Ann" type doll and thought she would be a lot of fun to color and she totally was. Now, the colors in this card probably look familiar. They are the same ones I used to make my Mojo Monday card the other day. I made them at the same time, so I just used what I had rather than getting out new colors.
Here are the challenges for this little cutie:
A Spoonful of Sugar: Anything Goes
Crafty Hos: Sketch
Top Tip Tuesday: Project for a child
Tuesday Throwdown: Project for a child
Craft Your Passion: Cutie Patootie
Ok, so that's all for me today. Not sure if I'll do any crafting today, so it may be Friday before I'm back again. Until then, "do what you love and love what you do!"

Back with some Mojo
Hi Everyone!
Well, here I am back again with some Mojo...on a Monday!!! I actually made two cards this morning, Yippee!! I'm only showing one right now though, you'll have to wait a couple of days for the other one. I have to admit, today was the first time in a long time that I've actually enjoyed stamping. I don't know, it just seemed lately every time I sat down to do something, I just couldn't get myself motivated to do anything and what I did do just made me feel so blah. I had a whole bunch of shows on my DVR so I sat down this morning in front of the big screen and dove right in.
Now, this card is definitely bright, ain't it!! Well, I guess it just matches my mood today. I think I may have gone just a bit overboard on the white polka dots; but too late to turn back now, right?! This was an easy peasy card to do and really straight forward, so I won't bore you with the details.
Just a few challenges for this card. I'm trying to limit my challenges to 3-5 challenges. I could spend all day challenge chasing and blogging, but.... I can't!!!
Card Cupids: No patterned paper (The background is a stamp embossed with white powder)
One Stitch at a Time: Anything Goes
Mojo Monday: Sketch
I may come back and add 2 more a bit later from Monday's Feline Playful list if I can. Have a great day!!

Cooking it up with Katie "Diva"
Hi Everyone! I know it has been a couple of weeks since I last posted. I am so sorry about that; but I have a good reason. My husband returned early from his deployment in Afghanistan!! Which was of course so very wonderful and a complete surprise for all of us. He took off the last week from work so that we could spend the time together as a family, which was just wonderful; but it didn't exactly make for the best crafting time! I did finally get a chance to put this card together for this week's "Cooking it up with Katie" challenge. This week's challenge is "Stamp me a Letter with some Brads" and it is sponsored by Sassy Studios. The design team came up with some amazing samples for you to see, so be sure to stop by and take a look at them!
As for me,we are coming up on the last few weeks of school and unfortunately, my fifth grader is struggling and I am going to be spending the remainder of the school year focusing my efforts on helping her. I don't know how much I will be blogging or crafting during that time, so don't be alarmed if you don't see me posting very much. Once things settle down, I will be get back into daily crafting and challenge chasing!
Until then, enjoy your craftiness and your time doing whatever it is you love to do!
