Hi All!
I hope you all had a smashing weekend! Mine was good, very relaxing actually. I had lots of time to craft; but to be honest I just kinda piddle here and there. Didn't really do anything concrete, so I actually only have one card to share with you. It's a fairly simple card; but sometimes less is more and I was pleased with the results. I started with a Dark Chocolate (PTI) base and then used Aqua Mist, Cameo Coral and Certainly Celery for my other colors in the card. I also used my Delightful and Delicious set from Verve. I still have 2 new sets that I haven't used yet...must get to those!!
Anyhow, the card does fit a few challenges also:
1. I did it Creations: Punches
2. Wags n Whiskers: Punches
3. Fussy and Fancy: Embossing
4. Raise the Bar: Hot Drinks
5. Stamp Man: Curls and Swirls
6. Get Sketchy: Sketch 76
Before I go, it's time to announce the winner of this month's Delightful Daisy Award. Each week I've chosen five outstanding cards from people who have been kind enough to stop by my blog and leave me a comment. This month's prize is for a $15 gift certificate to Two Peas in a Bucket. There were 20 entries, so without further ado.....the winner is: Jean from Jackies Everywhere who amazed me with this stunning and classically elegant card! Congratulations, Jean!!! I will contact you by email to discuss the details.

Ducky Day Rainbows!
Hi Everyone!!
I know I said I was all done for the day; but I just had to share this card with you! Have you ever created something and then stepped back and looked at it and thought, "Wow, I really like how this turned out!"?
That was exactly how I felt about this card. This is for this week's OCL sketch challenge. Be sure to stop by and check out all that's going on over at OCL. They are having a fantastic blog hop to show case their new release. All of their design team has created such fantastic examples showcasing the new sets; and there's plenty of chances to win. One things for sure, if I don't win anything from the hop, I'll definitely be placing an order!
Ok, so on to the card. I started with some Real Red for my base and used some pattern papers from Cosmo Cricket and my pattern paper stash. I also used Tempting Turquoise. I cut the Ovals using Petite Oval Nestabilities. I even did a bit of paper piercing around the edges, which is the first time I had tried this technique. I think it turned out rather well for my first go. I stamped the duck with Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and then used a variety of Copic Markers.
Ok, I'm off again!! Be sure to scroll down for my earlier post today and see the cards that I chose for this week's Delightful Daisies!
Delightful Daisies Week 4
Hi Everyone!
Time for the last week of Delightful Daisies for this month. I will draw the winner for the $15 gift certificate to Two Peas on Monday. Lots of great cards for me to look at this week. Thank you so much to all of you who visited my blog this week and left such nice comments for me; and good luck. I also thought I should clarify something and that is if you are a selected to be a Delightful Daisy during one week, then you are not eligible to be one again for the remainder of the month. Once the new month begins, it's fair game for everyone again. I did it this way simply to make this fair to everyone. Some people have rock star quality cards EVERY single day, while others such as myself, are not quite so gifted and talented!
Ok, so here are the cards for this week:

Thanks a Latte (for new stamps)
Hi Everyone!
I was so excited when I went and checked the mail yesterday because I got new goodies in the mail!! Yay!! After months and months of playing along with Mojo Monday sketches, I finally ordered some stamps from Verve. They are so awesome and I can't wait to create a ton of new things with them.
My card for today uses the set "Delightful and Delicious" and I adore it! I used Dark Chocolate, Vintage Cream, and Kraft from PTI and Mellow Moss from Stampin Up. I used a polka dot background stamp by Inkadinkado for the kraft panels which I embossed with ersa mark and White Embossing powder from American Crafts.
I am entering this card into the following challenges today:
1. Stampin Royalty: Sketch
2. ABC Challenge: O is for Ovals
3. The Paper Variety: Stitching
4. Sisterhood of Crafters: Ribbon and Brads
5. Simon Says Stamp: Coffee and Cream
Have a great afternoon everyone, and don't forget to leave a comment if you haven't yet this week so you can be eligible to become a "Delightful Daisy" this week. Tomorrow will be the last week this month before I draw the winner for the $15 gift Certificate to Two Peas in a Bucket!

More Flowers
Good Morning Everyone!
Well, it was another early crafting morning for me; and I have to say for someone who was up at 5:00 bleary eyed and not quite thinking straight, I am quite pleased with the way this turned out. I think for now, we'll just skip the part about me being completely out of my mind for crafting at 5:00am!
Anyhow, this was a very simple card and yes, I know it looks very similar to the card yesterday with the flowers; but what can I say?! If you have flowers...why not used them, right.
I used Orange Zest, Aqua Mist and White from PTI. The darker blue along the center is from my scrap package. I distressed the edge of the darker blue piece and also the white background piece. After I distressed it, I sponged some Tumbled Glass distress ink around the edges.
This card fits just a few challenges:
1. Tuesday Morning Sketches: sketch 82
2. Anything Goes: Distress
3. Party Time Tuesday: Anything Goes
4. Sweet Stamps: Flowers
5. Tuesday Throw down: 3D (pop it up)
Enjoy the rest of your day!

Laugh a Little
Hi Everyone!
I've was up very very early this morning....like ridiculously early! My phone dinged at 3:45 this morning with a message from my husband. While I'm always glad to hear from him, it did scare the bajeezus out of me! Needless to say the resulting rapid heart beat that followed my awakening made it rather difficult for me to go back to sleep. Only another fellow crafter could understand that I couldn't think of anything else to do except go downstairs and brew some coffee. I sat on the couch for 30 mins and suddenly realized that I had a whole other hour of complete peace and quiet. So what did I do? I crafted. I didn't quite get it all put together until a little while ago; but I made good headway on it and it cut down on my crafting time later.
So, anyhow here are the details for this card. I used Not Quite Navy, Sage Shadow, Melon Berry for my card stock colors. The pattern paper is from Basic Grey "Hopscotch" collection. This is one of my new items I got recently and I am just loving it!! The sentiment is from Hero Arts "Live Life" set (another new addition.)
I am entering my card into the following challenges:
1. Mojo Monday: Sketch 179
2. Incy Wincy: Uses Punches and Dies (I used Petite Circle Nestabilities, and Threading water punch by Fiskars)
3. Lexi Creations: Flowers
4. Stamp with Fun: 3 papers, 3 flowers, ribbon

Lovely Tree Hello
Hi Everyone!
Happy Monday to all of you. I hope you all had a very nice weekend. Mine was good, had one sick child; but just a small fever. I kept him home again today just to keep an eye on him.
Over the weekend, I finally signed up for Netflix. I can't believe I waited so long. I'm just completely addicted to it. This is just not what my little TV junkie self needs! LOL
Anyhow, on to my card for today. Fairly simple and straight forward, so I'll just jump right into the challenges:
1. Paper Works Co: Sketch #70
2. Card Cupids: Buttons or Ribbon
3. Mark's Finest Papers: Black, White, one color and paper piercing
4. Creative Inspirations Paint and Crafty Emma: Spots and Stripes
5. 2 Sisters: Embossing (I used the Inkadinkado polka dot stamp on the bottom and embossed it with versa mark and black EP)
6. All Sorts: Inspired by Nature

Crafting Extravaganza!
Good Saturday Evening!!
I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful weekend. Mine has been quite lazy and wonderful I woke up this morning and took advantage of the quiet time with my coffee this morning to start on some crafting. I was only going to do one and then that turned into to two; and well I was just on such a roll that I kept going and did another one. My quick crafting time turned into 5 hour crafting marathon!
I hope you like all of them. I have listed the challenges and details with each card.
For this first card, I chose Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, Blush Blossom and some pattern papers from a new package of Basic Grey "Hopscotch" that I just got from Two Peas. The cupcake is from Inkadinkado.
This card is for the following challenges:
1. Fashionista Friday and Stamping with the Dragon: Birthday
2.Phindy Place and Stamping 4 the Weekend:
Monochromatic (I stretched it a bit with the pattern paper; but I'm gonna sneak it any way!)
3. Fun with Shapes and More: Sketch and use a die. I used my Petite Scallop Circle Nestabilities
I was quite pleased with the results of this second card. I used Smoky Shadow, Simply Chartreuse, Newspaper and Vanilla.
This card fits the following challenges:
1. Our Craft Lounge: Photo Inspiration (click the link to see the photo) I used OCL's Fabulous Florals for the two small flowers on the side.
2. Paper Crafting Journey: Anything Goes
3. Sassy Studios: Use a punch. I used the Fiskars April Lace Punch
4. Prairie Fairy Blog: Use fine print in your design element. Obviously I used some newspaper and the fact that it was a bit aged added to the vintage feel of the card.
5. Res Q Challenge: Make a Happy Card: My sentiment is from a new set from Hero Arts called "Live Life" that I just got from Two Peas.
6. Get Sketchy: Sketch 75
Finally the third card is a more subtle and warm birthday card. I have to apologize for the photo quality, as it's not the best and doesn't show a lot of the detail I was wanted to exhibit in this card. Anyhow, I used Dark Chocolate, Orange Zest, and Ripe Avocado and Vintage Cream from Paper Trey Ink.
I will enter this card into the follow challenges:
1. Shelley's Images: Anything Goes
2. Card Making Mamas and Fairy Knoll : Birthday
3. CCEE: Scoring
4. Fabulous Friday: No Pattern Paper
5. Clean and Simple: Sketch

It's a Boy!!
....for someone at least! Not me, however. Nope, I'm afraid I am done contributing to the world's population! Still, I'm sure that somebody I know will have a baby soon and now I have both a girl card and a boy card that I can send.
So, today's card is very simple and I am entering into a few challenges:
1. Pixie Cottage: Sketch 57. There was an option for embossing as well; but I didn't do that this time.
2. Creative Craft World: Use a square
3. Cook it Up with Katie: Use a little blue, add some buttons and bling
4. Scrapbook Sisters: Baby Card
That's all for me today. Be sure to come back tomorrow and see if you are a Delightful Daisy this week and if you are eligible for the $15 Gift Certificate to Two Peas!

Fabulous Friend
Good Evening Friends,
Once again, the day got away from me and I was not able to get my card posted until just now. I had a good time making this card this morning. I just took my time and put it together quite leisurely. Sometimes those crafting days are the best, aren't they?
I was actually quite productive doing other things as well today and now I'm all relaxed on the couch watching the new episode of Survivor. I love this show...I never get tired of it!!
Anyhow, I did find some challenges yesterday on which I based the design of the card.
1. Cards & Things: Sketch
2. Desert Island Crafts: Pick at least three from the list. I chose A.)Monochromatic with Ocean Tide, Sage Shadow and Aqua Mist. B) The word "Friend" in your sentiment. C) One pattern paper. D) Swirls
3. My Time To Craft: Circles
4. Top Tip Tuesday: Stitching

Sweet Baby
Hi Everyone!
So here I am in stamping, crafty heaven once again. I must make a disclaimer here: I am going to miss my husband and worry about him every single second that he is gone; but I must confess one tiny little thing. I have to admit that it is going to be nice to be able to stamp and blog at my leisure instead of having to make sure it's all done before the kids get home or before it's time for dinner etc. I normally don't do any sort of crafting or computer work in the evening because I always like to spend my time with James watching TV, reading etc. Now, however since I'm sitting on the couch all alone after the kids go to bed, I have plenty of time. I think that's why even though I got this card done yesterday, I've just been a bit lazy about getting it blogged and linked up to the challenges I want to participate in. Also, life does sometimes happen so I had all the intentions of doing it yesterday; but alas did not quite get it done.
Anyhow, here are the challenges and details for today's card:
1. Bunny Zoe Crafts: Flowers
2. Crafty Your Passion: Pink
3. Die Cut Dreams: Baby Girl Card. (I was so happy to have something other than a Valentine's Day or challenge to do...)
4. Incy Wincy: Use 2 different color mediums. (I stamped the sentiment with ink and then used versa mark and chalk for the green butterfly)
5. Mojo Monday: Sketch 178
6. Totally Stampalicious, Alys Challenge, I Did it Creations: All Bling it up challenges. I used some pink and green rhinestone squares and some glitter around the sentiment and in the butterfly as well.
7. Woodware USA: Embossing.
8. One Stitch at a Time: Make it Pretty
9. Paper Sundaes: Pick at least 2 of the featured toppings. (I chose flowers and pink)

Going Crazy with the Challenges Again!
Hi Everyone!
Well, my warrior has departed and I miss him already. I am grateful he isn't going to be gone as long as others will; but I'm still going to worry about him every minute!
So, how shall I occupy my time over the next few months? Mmmm....let me think...oh I know! Stamping and crafting, of course! I actually had a chance to make this one the other day; but didn't have a chance to post it, which means that I've had plenty of time to go through 3 days worth of challenges to see which ones it fits. Once again, the list is long; and that's perfectly ok with me. I have to say that when I link my card to a challenge, I always visited those challenges and try to go around and comment on at least 10-20 cards per challenge. Therefore, sometimes it can be an ALL day affair for me in blog land. So, at least I know I have something to do while I'm sitting around watching TV in the evening.
Once again, I shall use the challenge list to share the details about the card. I do have to apologize about the quality of the photo. I took this picture with my phone camera instead of my camera. Probably shouldn't have done that; but oh well. Lesson learned. The bad thing is that I took my memory card to Wal-Mart yesterday to print some pictures; and now I can't find it...uh oh!!
Ok, enough with my ramblings. Here is the challenge list:
1. Get Sketchy: Sketch 74
2. Our Craft Lounge: Buttons and Bows OCL52 (I used some string to tie a couple of simple bows on the sides and then the buttons along the center and I used OCL's "Fabulous Florals" stamp set)
3. Phindy's Place: Spring is on the way (I thought the flowers and colors fit this challenge nicely)
4. Annabelle Stamps: Say it with Polka Dots (The polka dot DSP is from Cosmo Cricket's Restoration 6x6 pad)
5. Our Creative Corner: Cut it out. (I cut out and then stacked the flower in the center. This was one of the reasons I did not scan the card, so that I could do a close up of the flower)
6. Secret Crafter: Stamped Flower.
7. Little Claire's, My Grafico, and Stamp it Crazy: All Anything Goes challenges

Delightful Daisies Week 2
Good Friday Morning Everyone!
No card for me this morning. Although I do have some free time this morning, so don't be surprised if you see one later today or tomorrow! For now, however I am here to share this week's Delightful Daisies awards.
I ended up having to change one of the requirements for being eligible for this award. I decided that the only thing you have to do is to make at least one comment on any one of my posts through the week. You don't have to become a follower. I know that I make a lot of comments on various posts throughout the day and while there are great blogs out there, I don't necessarily feel the need to become a follower of each one. Therefore, I do not feel as though it is fair to make the same requirement of other people for my blog.
So, without further ado. Here are this week's fabulous creations. Be sure to stop by and leave them some love. Good luck to all the entries for the random drawing at the end of the month for $15 Gift Certificate to Two Peas. Also, don't forget to grab your "Delightful Daisies" picture from the sidebar to display on your blog.

Just Saying Hello!
Hi Everyone!
I know I said I wasn't posting anymore this week; but the hubby had some errands to run this morning, so I decided to take advantage of the extra time I had this morning and put together a quick card.
Don't forget tomorrow is the day I choose this week's Delightful Daisy awards. If you are unfamiliar with this make sure and read about it here so that you can participate and be eligible for a $15 gift certificate to Two Peas.
Since I don't have a whole lot of time, I am just going to list the challenges I am entering this card into and use them to describe my card.
1. ABC Challenge: N is for Neutrals: I chose black, brown and white. I figure you can't get more neutral than those colors.
2. Tuesday Morning Sketch: Easy as Pie sketch, and I loved it!
3. Tuesday Throwdown: Buttons. You know me and buttons! Never pass up a challenge that requires buttons!
4. Crafty Creations: 3 Little Words. My sentiment is from Hero Arts
5. Fab n Funky: Texture. I used my cuttlebug to emboss the white piece (which is a bit hard to see in the picture) and the brown piece as well.
So, there you have it. Simple and easy; but I hope you like it! Have a fabulous day and don't forget to leave a comment so I can come and visit you to see if you are a "Delightful Daisy" this week!

Butterfly Birthday
Hi Everyone!
Lots to talk about today, so pull up a chair and grab a good beverage.
First, if you haven't read about my chance to be a Delightful Daisy and win a $15 Gift Certificate to Two Peas, go read about it here.
Second, this is my last card for this week. The hubs is deploying on Sunday for Afghanistan and I am going to spend the week soaking up all the time I can with him. I will do my best though to surf around blog land and keep up with what everyone is doing. I will post Delightful Daisy awards on Friday.
Third, I want to share a blog award that was given to me by Ann Marie over at Stampin' Anne. I was so honored to receive this award. Thank you so much for thinking of me, Anne!
The rules of the Liebster Award are simple:
1.) THANK the person who bestowed it on you, with a link to their blog
2.) ACCEPT the award by posting it on your blog
3.) SHARE the bloggin' love with 3-5 fellow bloggers.
So, here are some fellow bloggers that I am proud to share this award with. I really wish I could have picked more than 5...that was really hard!
1. Bev at Savor the Journey
2. Broni at Splashes of Watercolor
3. Jackie at Kreate with me 2
4. Fiona at Leaves from my Notebook
5. Becky at Diamond in the Rough
Finally, I suppose we should talk about my card! LOL! This was such an easy card to do mainly because of the patterned paper which is from Cosmo Cricket's "Togetherness" pad. Now, I have to apologize for the crooked picture. I am so terrible at taking pictures! Normally I scan all my cards; but I didn't with this one because I wanted to show the butterflies along the center and I didn't want to squish them!
Here is the list of challenges I am entering this card into, which is not nearly as long as the last one. Wow! Wasn't that insane?!
1. 365 Cards: Use at least 3 1" circles on your card
2. Craft Your Passion: Anything Goes
3. Cupcake Craft Challenges: Use Red
4. Outlawz Monday Birthday Challenge: Make a birthday card and use butterflies
5. Ginger Loft: Red
6. Techno Monday Lunch Sketches: Sketch

Valentine's Day Love
Hi Everyone!
I hope you all had fabulous weekend. Mine was lots of fun just spending time with the family. We even had a snow day in San Antonio on Friday. Now, that's something I never thought would happen! The best part was that my hubby got into a shopping mood, so we all went shopping and got the kids new clothes! Yay! I always feel better when they have everything they need. I don't know, must be a mom thing!
So, I have a very simple card to share today. When I was looking through the challenge list to see which ones it would fit, I discovered that it went with A LOT of them. Obviously, Valentine's Day cards are hot topics in challenges at the moment! This card was fun to put together, I had not done the foiled embossing technique for a while and I liked the way it turned out.
If you haven't stopped by in a couple of days, be sure to read about my new contest Delightful Daisies" so you can be eligible for your chance to win the $15 gift certificate to Two Peas at the end of this month! Trust me, this is the easiest contest you'll ever enter!!
Ok, so here is the monster list of challenges that this card fits. Boy, I am going to have a ton of great cards to go look at!
Valentine's Day/Love Theme Challenges:
Raise The Bar: Hearts
Crafty Calendar: Love
Crazy 4 Challenges: Valentine's Day
ECP Challenges: Love
Secret Crafter: Valentine's Day
Card Maker Mama's: Valentine's Day
Simply Create: Hearts
Stampin for the Weekend: Valentine's Day
Various Challenges:
Our Craft Lounge: Chocolate, Pink and White (I used Love Notes OCL set)
Phindy's Place: Embossing
Get Sketchy: Sketch
Res Q: Grey Matter
Sew Many Cards: Anything Goes
Little Claire's: Anything Goes
Stampin Dragon: Anything Goes
Have a great day!

Delightful Daisies!
Hello Everyone!
Well, if you stopped by yesterday, you'll remember that I left my post saying I would have a special announcement tomorrow! Well, tomorrow is today, so here we go!!
I would like to announce the first week of the first month of a new contest I am introducing on my blog called "Delightful Daisies"
"Delightful Daisies" is simply my way of bringing some more attention to some of the most fabulous creations that I have seen on my journey through blog land during the previous week. I love getting comments on my blog, so I try to make sure that I do my fair share of blog hopping and commenting for other people as well. After all, fair is fair, right?
"Delightful Daisies" is not a challenge! Goodness knows there are enough challenges out there. You create your cards as you have always done for your favorite challenges. I will choose 5 cards to be displayed here on my blog every Friday and then on the last Friday of each month I will put all the cards into a random drawing for a prize! For this month, I will be giving away a $15 gift certificate to Two Peas in a Bucket. (By the by if you are a company interested in donating or sponsoring the monthly drawing, please contact me)
Even though you don't have specific card requirements, there are a couple of rules just to make it fair for everyone:
1. Please become a follower of my blog, if you aren't already
2. Leave me at least one comment on any post I make throughout the week. You only have to leave one; but remember the more you comment, the more I will visit you throughout the week to see what you are creating. (Please note, that I waived this rule just for this first week)
That's all! That's it! Couldn't be easier right?!
Ok, so for this very first week, these are the amazing cards I chose as Delightful Daisies. Please make sure and grab the "Delightful Daisies" picture from my side bar so you can display it on your blog! (If you need instructions or help on how to do that, let me know!)

No One Like You
Good Morning Everyone!
I actually managed to get my card done relatively early today! Yippee!! I always like to make sure I have it done before Jonathan gets home from pre-school so that he and I can do things together in the afternoon. As you can see, this card is super simple. As you can see below, one of the challenges was to use white space which is why I opted to do the sentiment in the middle as small as I did. I just did not want to take away from the white space in the center. The White Circle is a SVG digital cutting file that I bought from Two Peas a while back. I love the versatility of being able to cut things with my cricut whenever I need something fast and easy. This card is a square card and it measures 4 3/4 x 4 3/4. I used my swiss dots embossing folder for the red piece and the stamp in the middle is from Hero Arts. Thanks for stopping by and thank you for any comments you leave. I love to read them! Also, be sure to come back tomorrow. I will be making a very special announcement!!! Until then have a fantastic day!
Challenges:
365 Cards: White Space and Sketch
Dutch Dare: Buttons
Paper Play Challenges: Stamp it Out
Creative Cottage: Use a sentiment only, no images
Little Red Wagon: Use Kraft
Scrapbook Sisters: Use Red
Sisterhood of Crafters: Anything goes (2nd Entry)

You Brighten my Day.
Hello Everyone,
Before I share the details and challenges for my card this afternoon I have a request if someone could help me, please. I have noticed on various blogs that there are sometimes little "stylish blog awards" or "crafty superstar blog award" etc
I am interested in doing something here on my blog that will require me having to have one of those little "grab your blinkie here" things. However, I have no idea how to make one. So if anyone could provide me instructions or point me in the right direction, I would be most grateful!
Ok, so on to the card for today. First, I have to apologize for being so late getting it up. Just another one of those crazy days in life. I kept getting distracted and was having a hard time getting my thoughts in a straight line. You know how that is, I'm sure. I did this card for a variety of challenges which I have listed below. I used "Ducky Days" stamp set from Our Craft Lounge and used Copic Markers to color it in.
As you can see also, I changed the layout of the blog for February, I hope you like it! Have a great evening. I'm going to try and get around and do as much visiting and commenting as I can.
Challenges:
ABC Challenge: N is for Nesties. (I used label 8 nesties around my image)
Color Throwdown: I matched the colors as best I could with what I had. I don't actually have Early Espresso, so I substituted Choc Chip
Cooking it Up with Katie: Recipe (2 patterned papers, add some brown and use some metal) I hope my pastel yellow brads count as my metal pieces!
Pixie Cottage: sketch with the option to use buttons.
Sisterhood of Crafters: Anything Goes

Butterflies and Flowers make me Smile
Hello!
Everyday that I post something, I try to think of a title for each blog post that has a bit of oomph to it. This one I think, may be a bit over the top, however!
Anyhow, I didn't have a lot of time this morning to stamp, so I put this card together really quickly and over all I was pleased with the results.
Have a great day everyone! I will be linking this card to the following challenges:
Anita be Stampin: Color Challenge (Dk Purple, Lt Purple, Lt Yellow and Kraft)
Anything Goes: Butterflies
Papertake Weekly: Anything Goes/Flowers
Sketch and Stash: Sketch #54
Tuesday Throwdown: Stitching
Top Tip Tuesday: Anything girly. (I figure butterflies and flowers are about as girly as they come!)
