Aloha Kona! (and a little secret)

Happy Monday Everyone!

Wow what a busy day so far! First day of school for the kids, so mad rush this morning between 6:15 and 7:30 this morning. This is the first year that all three of my kids are at the same school at the same time. At least in the morning, anyhow. I have one in Pre-K until 10:45. So, you know what I did this morning?! Stamped, of course!!! I put this card together for the OCLDT 27 sketch using my new set "Kona" (I chose to make her a girl for this card!) Isn't she adorable?! I stamped her on Gina K. Pure Luxury white card stock with Memento ink in Tuxedo Black. I colored her in using Copics (YG03, YG63, C1) The shorts and flip flops were done in R22 and R24; the center of the shell was done with Y21. I paper pieced the towel with pattern papers from Me and My Big Ideas, which is also the other patterned paper used on the card. The card base is Cameo Coral and is standard size (4 1/4x 5 1/2) The other colors I used were Pumpkin Pie (SU) and Simply Chartreuse (PTI). Finally, I added the big Prima flower with the button and completed the card.
