Lovely as a Tree Mojo
Hi Everyone!
Here is my card for yesterday's Mojo Monday sketch. I started with a standard size Not Quite Navy base (5 1/2 x 4 1/4) and added a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Really Rust that I stamped with Itty Bitty Backgrounds. Next I stamped a a 1 3/4 x 5 1/4 piece of Sage Shadow with the "Prints Pattern" background stamp. The Sahara Sand layer is 3 3/4 x 3 1/2 and I sponged the edges of it with "Weathered Wood" Distress ink by Tim Holtz and also ran the edges along my SU Really Rust Ink pad. Next I added the smaller square of Not Quite Navy which measures 3 5/8x 3 1/8. I stamped the tree from Lovely as a Tree in Rust ink on to a 1 7/8x 3 3/8 piece of white cardstock. I sponged the edges with the Weathered Wood ink again and the center around the tree with Sage Shadow and then layered it onto a piece of Sahara Sand that measures 2 1/8 x 3 1/2.
The sentiment is from the retired SU set "Riveting " and I stamped it on Sahara paper in Not Quite Navy before cutting it out and adhering it with foam dimensionals.
Ok, so that's all for me today. Very quick post, I know. I do have some exciting news to share with you if you are a General Hospital fan, so be sure to check out this post if you can! Have a great day!
