Good afternoon!
I hope you are all having a good day so far. Mine has been quiet with two of the three back in school. I could hardly believe that Tyler got on the bus this morning. He was such a big boy. Honestly, I think his dad was expecting a bit more of a reaction than he got, so it really was all a bit anticlimactic when Tyler just walked right on and sat down. I got a chance to do yesterday's MMSC challenge this morning. When I was thinking about what to do for this card, I looked through my book and realized that I had not used my "Circle Circus" from SU in a while and it all just came together from there. I started with a Navy Base and then added a layer of Burgundy that I had embossed with Martha Stewart Patterns Clear Stamps. I did the eyelets and string next followed by the main image panel which I stamped with Brocade Blue, Navy and Burgundy. This is an easy set to work with; but it does require a bit of playing to get the circles in a pattern that you like. I cut two ovals with my Nestablilites and then added the white stitching and letters. The "LOVE" stickers are from American Crafts "Remarks" letter sticker books
Ok, so that's all for me today. I'm off to tidy up my crafty mess before the kids come home from school. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
