MMSC 15 and Color Challenge
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous day so far. Mine has been busy as always. My daughter is attending a gymnastics camp this week, which is about 30 minutes away from our house. The day, therefore, is chopped up a bit by being in and out of the car so much. That's ok, though. I really don't mind. She's really taken a shine to it and is progressing well and I am always of the opinion that it is important that youngsters, especially young girls, be involved in something that promotes self-confidence.
Ok, so that's the end of my dissertation for the day. On to the challenges for today. My card today combines the MMSC 15 with SCS color challenge to use Teal, Cocoa and Vanilla. I decided to be a bit different today and use vanilla as a base. If you are like me, you start with a color and just use your neutrals for stamping on. Of course, that doesn't translate so well in the picture; but it really does look good IRL. I was able to use my new Martha Stewart background stamps, which I inked up with Chestnut Roan chalk ink. I stamped the Riley image in Cocoa ink and then used various things such as pencils, ink and markers to color it in. The sentiment on the bottom is from SU's Chit Chat rubons.
I hope you like it, I can't wait to see what everyone else has done. Have a great day everyone!
