Technique Experimenting.
Good Afternoon!
So, I decided to play around a bit this morning and see what sorts of different backgrounds I could make. I found tutorials on SCS for a Brayered sky and also for using Shaving Cream. Both peaked my curiosity, so I decided to give them a try. The first card is for the Brayered Sky technique. This one was the harder of the two and required multiple attempts. I'm still not sure whether I like it or not. To me there' s just something that seems a bit off...not sure what, though.
The second one is for the shaving cream technique. It was a lot of fun and I think this is one I'm going to be using for my techniques class on Saturday. I decided to emboss the trees with copper powder in order to make them pop out from the background.
So, which one do you like best? Would love to know what you think.
Have a great day!

Mojo Monday and OCC Color Challenge
Hi Everyone!
I'm here really quick to post my card for today's Mojo Monday and also for Saturday's OCC color challenge using Not Quite Navy, More Mustard and Bashful Blue. I have to tell you, however, that the card is a bit different IRL because the "Bunny Slippers Sophia" actually sticks out beyond the top of the card. I had to crop it down, though because when I scanned it, it looked as though the card base was white and not the NQ Navy. The rest of the card is as simple as it looks, so I won't bore you with the details. Be sure to check out the other Mojo Entries as well as the OCC blog.
Ok, so I'm off again to go shopping for Easter outfits with Grandma. I hope you have a great day; and thanks for visiting with me.
Supplies:
Paper: NQ Navy, Bashful Blue, Mostly Mustard, DSP
Stamps: Bunny Slippers Sophia (Paper Pretties), Doodles (Paper Salon)
Accessories: Ribbon, Brads, Eyelets, Prima Flowers, Pencils, Markers, Blender Pens, Scallop Punch

WSC 74, Color Inspiration...Finally!!
Hi Everyone!
I'm so sorry for neglecting my blog over the last couple of days. I've been busy trying to get my Easter cards done, and I've also started doing some preliminary packing for our move in June. So here is my card for this week's Color Inspiration and also for today's WSC. Charmaine over at Oodabug Alley is the host for this week. Be sure to check out her blog and post your entry there so that you can be entered in the random drawing on Tuesday, March 31. You never know, you could win some goodies!!
I sat down to do this card almost two hours ago, while I was watching General Hospital (which was my first mistake), with the intention that I would have it done and posted by the time the show was over. For the record, I will say that I really like these colors together, more so than I actually thought I would. I also like the sketch. So, having said all that, I'm not sure what happened; but my "vision" (whatever that was....) didn't exactly turn out the way I wanted. So after a lot of doing and undoing, tying and untying, this is what I came up with.
So what do you think? I would live to hear any feedback good or bad.
Also, I apologize for not doing recipe Thursday or doing GH Friday this week. I will do them both next week. Have a great weekend, and thanks for taking the time to visit me!

SCS Sketch Challenge
Good Morning Everyone!
Wow, it's not even 8:00 yet this morning and I'm already done with my sketch challenge this morning and posting it. Of course, I've been up since 5 this morning and the kitchen is still a mess from breakfast along with the rest of the "getting ready for school" tornado that has gone through the house this morning. My littlest dude is still sleeping and since we've nowhere to go for a while this morning, I am hoping he will stay that way for a while!
Today's card is for this week's SCS sketch challenge and is for a college friend of mine who recently had a baby girl. The card came together very quickly, much to my pleasant surprise. Isn't that funny how that works? Sometimes you can look at a sketch for 30 mins and spend the next 2 or 3 hours trying to get something to come out the way you want it to. Other times, it all happens too quick to believe!
Ok, so that's all for me this morning! I'm off to clean up and finish working on Easter Cards. Have a great day!
Supplies:
Paper: Wild Wasabi, Regal Rose, Barely Banana, Rose Red, White
Stamps: Fresh Cuts, Congrats
Ink: Banana, Regal Rose, Rose Red
Accessories: Prima Flowers, Paper Piercing tools and mat, eyelets,

A card for my special girl.
Good Morning!
I never know when my Paper Pretties SOTM is coming, so I'm always pleasantly surprised when it arrives in my mailbox. This one came over the weekend and as soon as I saw the colors for today's SCS color challenge, I knew it would be perfect. I decided to also use yesterday's Mojo Monday sketch as well. It all just fit so well together. Although I did use my very very last scrap of Baja Breeze for it! The kiwi piece is actually a scrap of cuttlebug piece I had laying around also. I kept trying to decide whether I needed to keep it, or just toss it. I knew I would find a use for it!
I am going to be giving this card to my daughter Reagan. We've had a few, "she's 8 going on 18!" moments over the past week or so and I just want to let her know how much I love her. She doesn't dance; but I think she'll like it anyways. (I keep waiting for Paper Pretties to make a gymnastic Sophia!!) I tweaked the sketch a bit and put the ribbon behind the image because I didn't want to hide the ballerina slippers.
Ok, that's all for me...gotta go get Tyler from preschool and then we're off to the park. Have a great day!
Supplies:
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Vanilla
Stamps: Paper Pretties Sophia Ballerina
Accessories: Prima Flowers, Brads, Eyelets, Ribbon, Cuttlebug/embossing folders, Color Spritzer, markers and blender pens
Ink: Baja Breeze, Blush Blossom, Close to Cocoa

OCC Sketch Challenge
Good Morning Everyone!
I didn't get a chance to do the OCC sketch challenge over the weekend, so I thought I would do it this morning. I don't have an oval cutter, so I rounded the corners of my main image instead. As soon as I saw the vertical strip in the middle of the sketch, I knew that I wanted to use my Fruit Stand set. I haven't used it in a while, which is surprising because I really like this set. I wish that SU would have kept it around for a bit longer. I stamped the grapes in Basic Brown ink and then used inks, crayons, blender pens and aqua painters to color it in. I also used the retired "Fine Lace" background stamp on my larger Rose Red piece. For the ribbon at the bottom, I didn't have any Rose Red ribbon, so I substituted the Double Stitched Pomegranate Ribbon instead. All in all a very simple card; but still I think it will brighten somebody's day when I send it out!
I didn't see the Mojo Monday sketch until just a little while ago and now it's time to finish cleaning up and then go get T from school and then off to the park. I'm working on Easter Cards and some scrapbook layouts right now, also. So, basically what I'm saying is that Mojo Monday is going to have to be a Mojo Tuesday for me this week.
Have a great day everyone. If you get a chance check out the other OCC sketch entries.
Supplies:
Paper: Garden Green, Rose Red, Bordering Blue, NQ Navy,
Stamps: Fruit stand, Itty Bitty Backgrounds, Sincere Salutations, Pocket Silhouettes, Fine Lace Background,

GH Chatter Friday
Hi Everyone!
Let's jump right in and see what's hot and what's not in PC this week.
--First, I've decided that I think Kate is my least favorite character. I don't know why; but she just irritates me every time I see her.
--Ok, now to totally contradict myself...I do have to give Kate kudos for pointing out to Carly that while Carly blames her for taking Michael to the warehouse that night, she never sought punishment against Michael when he shot her. (Yes, Carly...remember the part where your 10 year old son shot someone with a gun!)
--Maxie and Johnny or Maxie and Spinelli? Not as easy to pick as I would have thought
--Speaking of Maxie, when exactly did she have time to get hair extensions? Actually, I don't really care; but I wish she'd take them off. She looks so much better with short hair.
--Maxie was just plain wrong to kiss Johnny like that especially after all the sweet things she said to Spinelli.
--Robin?? Girl, what are you doing?
--I really liked the scenes with Sonny and Carly this week. I'm glad to see they've finally reached a peaceful place in their relationship.
--Loved the scenes with Patrick and Jeff Burton. Seriously, laughed out loud
--I thought Elizabeth made a good point about Robin truly believing she is a bad mom.
--Couldn't help but laugh when Alexis was talking to Sonny about what games and activities Sonny's guests could play at the Mob Party.
--Did you catch the part where Kristina hung up on Alexis?
Now for the Rumors and Scoops from around the net:
--Jerry Jacks is returning April 15th
--Carolyn Hennesy (Diane) will be joining Courtney Cox Arquette in the new prime time show "Cougar Town". No word on possible departure from GH.
--Winnifred, Sam, Spinelli will join up to be PI's together. There will, however, be a surprising fourth person joining them.
--Helena's comeback will coincide with the hospital reopening.
--Claudia tries to kill Ric.
--Patrick and Liz continue to grow closer together.
--Robins condition worsens. Although new rumor says Robin may not have PPD; but maybe something entirely different.
--Jason comforts Robin
--Rumor: Lulu breaks up with Johnny.
--Liason scene Alert!
--Kristina will be SORASED soon. Expect quite a change both physically and in personality. Remember, she is Sonny's daughter!
Have a great weekend!

Recipe Thursday: Chicken Breasts with Creamy Vegetable Topping
Hi Everyone!
This week's recipe comes from my Food and Wine "Quick from Scratch, Chicken Cookbook" It was super easy and very tasty. If you think the kiddos won't like the topping, simply leave it off a couple of pieces before you cook it. Also, the recipe calls for bone in breasts; but I used boneless thighs. So feel free to substitute as you wish. I even have picture for you this week!
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 scallions chopped
1 carrot grated.
8 oz cream cheese at room temperature
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 bone in chicken breasts (all skin removed)
Directions:
Heat oven to 425
Heat oil over medium heat and then add the bell pepper and cook until it starts to soften.
Add the scallions and carrots and cook 2 -3 minutes longer
Mix the vegetables with the cream cheese and add 3/4 tsp of the salt and 1/4 tsp of the pepper.
Sprinkle the chicken with the remaining salt/pepper.
Put the breasts in a roasting pan and then spread with vegetable cream cheese
Bake until done about 25 minutes. Enjoy! I'll be back later with something creative.

SCS Sketch and Color Challenges
Hi Everyone!
Here are a couple of cards to share with you today. The first one is for my workshop that I'm doign on Saturday. I recently got the wheel to go with my "Cheers to You" set and thought it would be a good technique and tool to demonstrate to everyone. I also wanted to use water coloring on the glasses. I decided however that since there was so much detail with the wheel, that just filling on one of them would be best. I also discovered I only have one small stamp that says Happy Birthday. So, definitely need to do something about that soon!
The second card I have today is my card for yesterday's SCS color challenge and today's sketch challenge. The colors are Summer Sun, Riding Hood Red, and Kraft. I have to admit my first thought about these colors wasn't really hopeful; but they actually turned out going well together. I used the "Birds and Swirls" cuttlebug folder on the Red pieces. I added a bit of Always Artichoke behind the center image. I just thought it would make the trees stand out a bit. I used my watercolor crayons on the trees and finally found a water bottle that mists just enough water on the stamp without making the color run all over the stamp before stamping it on the paper.
Supplies: Cheers to You
Paper: Apricot Appeal, Bravo Burgundy, Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie
Stamps: Cheers to You (wheel and set), Mark the Date,Itty Bitty Backgrounds
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Regal Rose, Bravo Burgundy
Accessories: Aqua Painters
Supplies: Lovely as a Tree
Paper: Kraft, Summer Sun, Black Always Artichoke, Riding Hood Red.
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Bitty Basics.
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Wondercolor Crayons, Caramel Marker, Antique Metal brads

OCC and SCS new technique
Hi Everyone!
I hope everyone had a good weekend. Ours was a bit unusual since I had to take DH to ER on Friday when he hurt his back. Apparently he tore a muscle in the lower part of his back, so he spent the rest of the weekend on some pretty heavy drugs. I also had a workshop and now am on to preparing for the next one I have this coming weekend.
I didn't get a chance to do the OCC challenge over the weekend, so I decided to do it this morning. (When I checked Mojo Monday earlier, the sketch had not been posted yet) I also liked the SCS technique challenge of ribbon framing and it seemed like it would fit right in with the limited supplies OCC challenge.
I finally got a Cuttlebug!! I love it!! I was amazed at how easy it is to use. I decided that since the challenge was to only use 3 layers including the stamped image, that it would be good to use it here. I used the Stylized Flowers folder for the background on the Old Olive piece.
The card is super simple; but I think that was the whole point of the challenge.
Have a great day everyone!

GH Chatter Friday
Hi Everyone!
Once again, it's Friday and time for my weekly scoop, news, and overall opinions both good and bad of all the things happening in Port Charles.
So, what did I like and what made me go "Seriously?"
--Always enjoy scenes with Luke and Sonny. Although I really thought that when Sonny went to talk to Luke that there be perhaps a bit of discussion about Laura. Granted, Michael and Laura's condition are very different...still there are a few similarities there.
--What would Carly do without Jason? I liked the scene with her and Jason where they talked about Michael; but for someone who is normally so strong willed and independent, she has a hard time making decisions.
--I enjoyed the light hearted moments of the week: Angel Maxie vs. Devil Maxie; Tracy thinking Lulu was pregnant and Luke spitting out his drink and Jason telling Spinelli, "Don't hug me!"
--Who's the mystery person that stole the DVD from Sonny's house. Couldn't have been Kate or Claudia and it sure did look like a woman. Olivia maybe?
--Every time Laura Wright does a scene where she talks about Michael, my heart just aches. She plays them so well.
--What's up with the animosity between Lucky and Ethan? Jealousy?
Did you notice that the place in "Manhattan" where Jax and Carly talked about going to Fuji is the same place in "Port Charles" where Liz and Jason used to meet?
Now, what have I heard around the net this week:
--The new Michael has been cast!!!! His name is Drew Garrett. He will first appear on screen in mid April. (He's pictured here today)
--Nickolas asks Sam to investigate Rebecca
--Michael moves a finger (too bad no one notices)
--Jax discovers a secret thanks to Olivia
--Jason wears a wire to a mob meeting
--Helena returns in April!
--Emma Samms (Holly) returns for May sweeps. Rumor has it, she may be Ethan's mother.
--Kristina will be SORASED in May.
--Robin and Patrick continue to clash, especially over Michael's condition
--What will Rebecca do to Ethan when he tries to steal Edward's wallet.
--Don't miss GH on Monday, when NASCAR's Jeff Burton stops by!
--Did you see Maurice Benard on The View yesterday? If you missed it, you can see on abc.com or go to YouTube.
Ok, have a great weekend everyone!

Classic Color Inspiration
Good Morning!
A very early morning today. I've been awake since about 4:00am. I laid in the bed for a while and then decided, to heck with it; I'm just going to go ahead and get up. Obviously no one is up at the moment, so I've got free time right now. I actually completed Kristina's color inspiration yesterday; but didn't get a chance to post it. I really liked the classy feel of these week's color challenge. I knew right away that I wanted to use some of my "Die Cuts with a View" paper for some glitz and glam. It was very tempting to add another color; but I was able to resist. It was very easy to put together since I only used the three stamps from "Priceless". I know I use that set an awful lot. What can I say, I guess we all have our favorites. I stamped the white flower in the center with Whisper White Craft ink onto black paper and then dried it with my heating gun.
Ok, so that's all for me right now. I will be back a bit later for Weekend Sketch Challenge. Have a great morning!

Recipe Thursday: Creamy Spaghetti and Beans
Good Morning Everyone!
Here is your recipe for this week. This one was a big hit with my kids, since my boys don't like any sort of red tomato sauce on their spaghetti. I hope you like it. Of course, it is a Rachael Ray recipe!
Ingredients:
5-6 cups chicken stock
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp butter
1/4lb bacon
4 garlic cloves
1 pound spaghetti
1 onion chopped
2 carrots peeled and grated or diced
1 bay leaf
Italian Seasoning
1 cup dry white wine
1 can small white beans
1 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
Directions:
In a saucepot, heat the stock to a boil and then reduce to simmer
Heat the butter and Olive Oil in a large deep pot over medium heat
Add the bacon and brown three or four minutes until crisp
Add the garlic, then the spaghetti and toast the noodles lightly for about 3 minutes.
Add the onion, carrots and bay leaf and Italian Seasoning.
Cook the veggies until they are soft about 5 minutes
Add the wine and let it be completely absorbed.
Add the beans along with a few ladles of the simmered stock and stir the pasta
Let most of the liquid absorbed before adding another few ladles.
Repeat this procedure until the pasta is cooked to al dente about 12-15 minutes.
Stir in the cheese and adjust the seasonings.
Enjoy!
I will try to be back again a bit later with something creative. If not, have a good day and I'll be back tomorrow for sure!

SCS Challenges
Good Morning Everyone!
I can hardly believe I actually got a chance to stamp early this morning. Of course, that may have something to do with the fact that two of my children are at school and one is still sleeping! I didn't post yesterday because I knew that I wanted to combine yesterday's SCS color challenge with today's sketch challenge. The colors were Basic Black, Rose Red and Artichoke. I really like how the card came together and was happy that my "vision" actually translated into reality. As many of you stampers know, that's not always the case. I used my hostess set "Echoes of kindness" for the main image. I embossed the flower with versa- mark and black powder and then used my new watercolor crayons with the aqua painters to color the images in. I've really grown to like these over the past couple of weeks. The rest is pretty basic and straightforward. That's all for me for today. Have a great afternoon and I'll be back tomorrow!

Mojo Monday
Good Morning
I wanted to get this posted sooner rather than later this morning since my posts have been rather late in the past couple of weeks. This is my card for Mojo Monday this week. I apologize for the pictures. I actually took my camera outside to take the pictures because I wanted to show the 3D effect of the butterfly. So I have to apologize for the shadows etc of the pictures. I'm just not that great with the camera, which is why I'm so glad I have my scanner.
The sketch was easy to work with and now that I have a new circle cutter, I'm much more relaxed about doing circles on my cards. It was really stressing me out there for a while when so many sketches had circles!!
To make the butterfly in the corner, I stamped two butterfly images from "Garden Whimsy" in Mustard and in Not Quite Navy. Then I cut them out and simply adhered the two butterfly "bodies" leaving the wings open. I created the shadow effect from the "Upsy Daisy" image by stamping first in So Saffron and then off centered the next image in Bordering Blue.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm off to finish working on more projects for my next workshop on Saturday!
Supplies:
Paper: Bordering Blue, Mostly Mustard DSP, Saffron, White
Stamps: Garden Whimsy, Upsy Daisy
Ink: Border Blue, Saffron, Mustard, NQ Navy Marker
Accessories: Olive and Saffron 5/8" ribbon, brads, Prima flower

Friday GH Chatter
Hi Again Everyone!
Time for another weekly edition of GH chatter. I apologize for missing last week. I hope that my fellow GH fans enjoy these weekly post; and remember that I welcome any and all comments you may have.
Here are my favorite and some not so favorite scenes from this week.
--I really liked the scenes on the roof with Claudia and Sonny. I think that MB and SB still have great Chemistry and I'm glad to realize that I can watch them without thinking back to the "Carly" days.
--I am glad to see that Sonny and Jason figured out their issues. I did also think that the scene with Max and Sonny where Max told him that some of the men were questioning Sonny's loyalty was good and very realistic as well.
--Well since Lucky and Liz have mutually decided not to reunite, I wonder what will happen next. Especially since it looks as though Sam and Jason may be headed toward a reunion.
--Love the chemistry between Lulu and Ethan!
--The scenes with Emma and Sonny were very sweet.
--I have a feeling that we've definitely not seen the worst as it relates to Robin and the PPD.
--The scene with Luke and Nikolas on the pier reminded me of why Anthony Geary has won so many Emmys!
--Spinelli's heartfelt thanks to Jason for all that he's done for him, was just that---heartfelt.
Ok, so now to dish and chat about what I've heard around the net this week.
--Casting for Michael is in full swing. According to one source, there have been a lot of blondes in and out of the casting room.
--Lots of Rumors floating around about Ethan, including one that he may be Robert's son.
--Robin runs away and kisses someone else.
--Rebecca MAY actually be Emily; but she MAY NOT be. So who exactly is Rebecca? Rumblings and rumors say she may have something to do with the Equinox Corporation.
--Liz becomes close with Rebecca all the while paying careful attention to the pieces of her story that Rebecca shares with her.
--Now that Anthony is gone, PC is in need for another Villian---or Villianess. Rumor has it that Helena will return sometime in April
--Check out the list of Pre-noms for the Daytime Emmy's.
--Possible future triangle with Lucky, Rebecca and Nikolas.
--Ethan and Lucky tangle on the docks over Rebecca
--Robin leaves Emma at Kelly's
--Spinelli meets a woman named Cassandra who enlists Spinelli to help her with her finances and then for more criminal activities.
WSC and SCS Limited Supplies
Hi Everyone!
Today's card is for the WSC and also for SCS limited supplies challenge to complete a card in less than 3o minutes. Mine took 25, so I figured that more than qualified. The sketch was very easy to work with as well. I utilized some of the scraps of Print Patterns paper that I had lying around. I found the color combination in the SU catalog and I really liked it and thought they were good colors that matched the simplistic elegant theme I was going for.
We have had a crazy busy week complete with my husband having an MRI, a biopsy and my son being treated in the ER for a possible staph infection as well as me having "issues" which need to be medicated. Still getting ready for tomorrow's workshop, to which I now have two more people coming. I will be doing my GH column a bit later this afternoon. I decided even if no one reads it or comments on it, I shuould remain true to my blogging title. Until then, have a great day!
Supplies:
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Not Quite Navy, Always Artichoke, Sahara Sand
Stamps: Fresh Cuts (sentiment) Simply Said

SCS Sketch Challenge and Color Inspiration
Good Afternoon All!
I hope you are all having a fabulous day. Mine has been busy as always. I am almost done preparing for my workshop this Saturday. Just have a couple of more projects to do tomorrow and then I will be all set. At least until next week when I have to start preparing for the next workshop I have the following Saturday! Anyhow, I did manage to get my card done today for yesterday's SCS sketch challenge and this week's Color Inspiration. This week's colors were Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette and White. I added a splash of Rose Red with two of the petals, just to spice things up a bit. The other petals are actually pink; but once again the scanner washed them out a bit. I finished this one and I keep looking at it trying to decide if I like it or not. What do you think? Be sure to check out all of the other fabulous entries over at Kristina's site.
I know this is another short post from me; but I'm off again. I'll be back again tomorrow with Beate's WSC. Have a great day!
Supplies:
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette, Cocoa, White
Stamps: Pick a Petal, Sincere Salutations,
Ink: Pink Pirouette, Cocoa, Rose Red
Accessories: Prima Flowers, Brads, Choc Chip ribbon
Recipe Thursday: Italian Biscuit Topped Casserole
Hi Everyone!
This week's recipe is from an old Pampered Chef Recipe book that I have. It's quick and easy and generally enjoyed by kids and adults. It's a great way to cook your spaghetti and bread all at one time in the same pan. I hope you like it!
Ingredients:
1 1/2lbs Italian sausage (or ground beef)
1 1/2 cups chopped green bell peppers
1 cup chopped onion
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups sliced zucchini
1 1/2 cups fresh mushrooms
3 cups chunky garden vegetable spaghetti sauce
1 tsp dried Italian Seasoning
1 package refrigerated buttermilk flaky biscuits
2 Tbsp grated Parmesan Cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven 375
Cook and stir sausage, bell peppers, onion and garlic over medium heat for about 6 minutes until sausage (or meat) is browned and crumbly; pour off drippings.
Add the zucchini and mushrooms; cook 3 minutes
Stir in the spaghetti sauce and seasonings, bring to a simmer and cook for about 2 minutes
Pour mixture into a 13x9 dish and arrange the biscuits around the outer edge of the pan.
Sprinkle cheese over biscuits
Bake 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown

Spring and Easter
Hi Everyone!
Just a couple of quick cards to share with you today. These are a couple of the cards I'm going to be doing for some of my workshops. They are very simple, which is always what I go for when I'm doing something for workshops. Many of the people that come are not seasoned stampers, so I don't want to overwhelm them. I posted the first card closed as well as opened. I CASED the idea from a gallery on SCS. I thought it was just the cutest thing ever and it fit well with the Easter Egg from this set. I don't remember the name of it...at the moment, however.
Anyhow, I've been saying since about 9:00 this morning that I need to work on some more stuff...hasn't happened yet! So, I'm going to cut this a bit short today. Have a great day and I'll be back tomorrow!

Mojo Monday and a GH Question
Hi Everyone!
Well, I'm finally here with my Mojo Monday sketch this afternoon. What a crazy busy weekend! What's funny is I can't really even tell you what made it so busy; but I feel like I've just recovered from it! I've been working so hard to prepare the materials for the workshops that I have coming up in March and unfortunately, not all of it is stuff I can share with you since I can't scan it. Yes, I could take a picture of it, and then I have to upload it etc. Basically, just more to do LOL!!
My mind is going in so many different directions, that I had a hard time trying to figure out what to do for this week's sketch. I decided to use my new Paper Pretties stamp that I got in the mail this weekend. I think she's absolutely adorable and I know for sure I will be using her for at least a few of my Easter Cards (oh no it's almost time to do those as well.) My center image is a bit longer than the sketch. I stamped the image with Close to Cocoa ink and then used a combination of ink pads, pencils and blender pens to color her in. This card also gave me a chance to use some of my new Saffron ribbon. Ever since I got my package of goodies, I've tried to use something new in each of my latest creations.
One final note before I go for the afternoon. I didn't get a chance to post my weekly GH chatter on Friday. Time just got away from me and I apologize. I enjoy watching the show and I like putting together the weekly scoops for you. Still, I would like to get some feedback as to whether or not it's something you all enjoy. So my question, simply is do I have any GH fans out there reading what I'm writing or am I just kind of wasting my time with it? Thanks everyone!
Have a Great Day
