Well, here it is as promised, a layout to share with all of you. This is one that I did for Reagan's book. I really wanted her to be involved in the development of her book, so we decided that I would do the pictures, paper and titles; and then she will do the embellishing.
I wish that I could scan it because I think it would come out as a better image; but since it is a 12x12 page, it's too big to fit on the scanner. It's hard though to get the images together in one shot, though. I thought about doing each page separately, but decided that doing that would break up the "Reading is Fun" title and not show the continuity of the page. I apologize therefore for the not so clear picture. I got the layout idea for this page from one of my Becky Higgins' "Sketches" Magazine. I have two volumes of these and I love them!!I made the "Reading" and Fun" portions of the title with foam stamps and paint. I used my Quikutz for the "is". (Yes, I am still using the old squeeze tool! Kinda like the old VCR...!!)
I think Reagan did a good job embellishing the page and she had lots of fun doing it. I am going to try and do another layout today and share it with you tomorrow. Until then, have a great day and thanks for visiting with me.
