Weekend Challenges

Good Afternoon All,

I had actually thought about taking a bit of a break from stamping today. Then I started blog hopping around, and got inspired. The next thing I knew, I was stamping away!
The colors I chose were Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Purely Pomegranate and Pretty in Pink. I used the Puppy from the Penny Black Critter Party set, and the cupcake from the Sushi Bowl set (Stampendous)I stamped all the images in Close to Cocoa and then watercolored with pencils. I made the background on the Pomegranate Piece with the Simple Stripes background stamp. Just stamp it and then turn the paper and stamp again...voila, cute little squares. The SCS limited supplies challenge this week is to use brads as your only embellishments. Well, I kinda blew that by using the ribbon. Definitely been on a ribbon kick lately...will have to try to make something without using ribbon. Now, that will be a challenge! It's also time for Stamp Something's weekly challenge. This week you have to make something that is Red, White and Blue; but it can't be a card. Not really sure if I'll have a chance for this one or not...
