New Stamps!

Good afternoon everyone!

Well, as promised, I have posted an example with one of my new sets. This Sushi set is from Stampendous and I bought it after having seen so many really cute samples on Cambria's blog (Love her work!!) I have to say that I did thoroughly enjoy playing with this little fish set and I will definitely be using it a lot here in the near future! I wanted to keep with a water theme for this particular card, hence the variety of blues here. The images were stamped and then colored in with watercolor pencils and my aquapainters. For the castle and the fish, I cut those out and adhered them, rather than stamping straight on the blue paper. I also got the Critter Party Set from Penny Black. Those darned Hedgehogs are just too adorable. I uploaded the sample that I made with that set to my SCS gallery.
Yesterday was SCS color challenge to use Wasabi, Teal and White. I never would have put those colors together; but I admit I think they look fabulous together. I'm going to try to combine that one with today's Sketch Challenge and hopefully get it posted for everyone tomorrow. Remember, SCS challenges count towards your chance for Blog Candy this week!
